BIRCH HILL HOSPITAL, ROCHDALE

Project : Refurbishment (Re-Roof) of Birch Hill Hospital

The Project comprises of the conversion of an existing 3 Storey Hospital building to provide 40 New Apartments, 1 Triplex Apartment and 6 Town Houses within the adjacent refectory building.

The specification for this project was to strip off all existing roof coverings for re-use where fit, we supplied approx. one third with “new” second hand welsh.

In addition to the slate Roof there was a large GRP Flat Roof (Approx. 450m²) to the centre of the building, this was done using a Liquid Applied Cromar GRP product, laid onto a 150mm Insulation Board.
